The quintessence of cosmopolitanism, Edoardo was born in Italy, grew up, lived, and studied across Africa and Europe and subsequently worked in over 38 countries on 4 continents following a career as a special operations police officer with New Scotland Yard and within the private security industry.
Prior to founding Consilium Escapes Ltd. he spent ten years as a risk advisor and senior manager for a number of Forbes20 Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, NGOs, Big 4, and Fortune500 organisations worldwide. Having successfully grown the sister company Consilium Strategies Ltd. into a multi-million dollar boutique risk management firm and delivered a number of events in Europe, Africa, and South-East Asia, Edoardo founded Consilium Escapes as a dedicated experiential travel specialist capitalising on his passion for travel and experience as an organiser and troubleshooter in some of the most challenging locations for the world’s most prominent individuals and organisations.
With a lifelong passion for learning, Edoardo is a graduate of the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS, University of London), University of Oxford, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), City Law School (University of London), American Military University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Cornell University holding a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), Master of Arts (MA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Laws (LL.M) and currently completing an MSc in Applied Neuroscience from King’s College London focusing on human performance.
A deep believer in the ancient roman concept of “mens sana in corpore sano” he is equally at home on ski-slopes and rock-climbing, as well as exploring artistic and cultural wonders of the world. He is a member of the Italian Sports Climbing Association (FASI), a qualified United States Parachute Association (USPA) skydiver, a PADI Divemaster, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the AREMT registry.
Edoardo is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
